About Me
I started my career in financial services, where I spent over a decade working in internal audit departments, honing my accounting skills and helping different departments find their weaknesses and improve their internal controls. Along the way, I felt called to earn my CPA license, so I went back to school while working (those 18 months when I worked and studied were ROUGH), then passed all four sections of the CPA exam.
I felt compelled to move to another area of accounting. I spent years auditing financial statements and working with corporate accounting departments to make sure they were doing everything right. The more I learned, the more I wanted to help small businesses with this. I also started filing taxes for family and friends, which allowed me to see how people sometimes left money on the table due to not planning in advance.
So, I started my very own firm! I’m virtual, which means I communicate with my clients by email, online meetings, and phone. I love making sure businesses’ bookkeeping and financials are accurate, as well as helping business owners see where their cash is going. I also love helping businesses and individuals plan for tax season, execute a plan during the year, and file an accurate and timely return by the appropriate deadlines.

Outside of work, I…
- Love to read and write
- Love animals
- Love to knit and crochet (some of my creations may make it onto the blog on this site!)
- Enjoy spending time with friends and family
- Enjoy trying new restaurants
